Defendant-Appellant Maxin has appealed from his conviction by a jury in the district court in Akron, Ohio on the one count of an an indictment charging him with submitting a false Internal Revenue Service Form W-4E in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 7206(1) and with two counts of failing to file income tax returns for the years 1972 and 1973 in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 7203.
